The Intermediate Division (Level 2/2A) classes are for dancers who have progressed from our studio’s Junior Program (Level 1) classes or who have had at least three to four years of dance training. This level includes students 9-13 years old. Level 2 dancers will be those who have most recently completed the Junior Program (Level 1) or who are in their second year of the Intermediate Division. Level 2A dancers will have completed a minimum of 2 years in Level 2 and will be working towards entering Level 3 classes. Most level 2/2A students attend our studio at least two to four times per week.
Level 2/2A students can design their own class schedule from the below class list.
OR... Level 2A students can request a personalized track of classes (from the below class list) designed for them by the Studio Director/Faculty as part of our Level 2A PLUS track: LEVEL 2A PLUS:
The Studio Director & Faculty will design a track of classes best suited to benefit your training.
Each track will include a minimum of 4 classes/week (two ballet classes, one jazz, and one contemporary). Minimum tuition of $85/week. More classes can be added if requested & will be discussed with each family to include additional class disciplines in your track.
Selected, Level 2A students will be invited to the Level 2A BRIDGE track: LEVEL 2A BRIDGE:
The Studio Director & Faculty will invite & place select students in a mandatory track of classes using both Level 2/2A & 3/3A classes.
This track will include a minimum of 8 classes/week (6 mandatory & 2 electives). Classes in Ballet, Jazz, & Contemporary will be mandatory & two electives (acro, hip hop, musical theater, pointe, etc.) will be discussed with each dancer/family. Occasionally, Senior Pre-Pro Company Classes will also be a mandatory requirement (at an additional fee). Minimum tuition of $160/week.
The goal of this track is for the most advanced Level 2A dancers to graduate solely into Level 3 classes within at least two seasons.
