2021-22 Sr. Pre-Professional Program Announcement
We are excited to announce the 2nd season of the Senior Pre-Professional Program at The Floor Dance Academy! With the inaugural season under our belts, we have fine tuned the program and have developed a safe, nurturing, highly focused program. This program is designed for those dancers who are committed to challenge themselves and ultimately grow towards a future in the arts. By making a dedicated commitment to this program, a strong foundation will be built for entry into the entertainment industry. Students and parents will be required to understand that this program for budding artists comes with a level of commitment and responsibility that should be taken seriously by all. Within this program, we will provide company members with performance opportunities and a curated training schedule/curriculum to fit the needs of not only the group but the individual. With the understanding that each company member will have different desires and goals, we will work as a team to navigate the most beneficial path to achieve the best for each artist. The requirements for this program include a minimum of 10 core classes per week plus weekend company classes and possible additional classes and rehearsals. Dancers will participate in select company-only classes but the majority of classes will be with the studio’s non-company Level 3/3A students. Multiple classes have been scheduled within four to five days (depending on your chosen electives), including weekends. We will do our best to condense the number of days the company members will be at the studio to accommodate those entering high-school. Minimal absences will be allowed throughout the program and dancers showing a lack of commitment will be asked to leave the program and move to a non-company track of Level 3/3A classes.
