LEVELS Finding the most appropriate classes for all dancers is the of the utmost importance. Age and years of dance both play an integral role in class placement.
Use the below level descriptions to assist you in enrolling your child in the class/es that will be most beneficial to their growth and happiness.
Level 1 - Classes at the beginning level for younger dancers, or dancers who have not had much dance experience or training.
Level 2 - Intermediate level for dancers who have progressed from Level 1 or who have had a few years of dance experience or training.
Level 2B - For the student bridging into Level 2 from Level 1.
Level 2A - For the Level 2 student who has completed 2 or more years in Level 2 and is on the cusp of bridging into Level 3 classes.
Level 3 - Most advanced level. Usually pre-teen or teenagers who have excelled past Level 2 and who have had multiple years of dance training and experience. Pre-Professional (Pre-Pro): Classes designed for those students selected to be a member of the Pre-Professional program. A highly focused and requirement based program for the most dedicated of students.
Additional Level Descriptions: Beg = Beginning • Int = Intermediate • Adv = Advanced
Makeup Classes, Cancelled Classes, & Refunds:
• Make-up classes are allowed but due to COVID class limitations, they must be pre-reserved via email a minimum of 24 hrs prior to the class. • Substitute teachers may be necessary at times but if a class is cancelled by the studio, a credit will be placed on your account to use for another class at The Floor. • Notification must be received if you wish for your child to be unenrolled in a class. Without notification, tuition will continue to be charged. Refunds will not be issued.
