We are excited to announce the launch of this program at our studio, even if it doesn’t seem like the most ideal time. But, we are moving forward with our plan of implementing this into our Dance Academy. The purpose of establishing this program at TFDA this year, is to help those dancers who want to make more of a commitment to this art form and have plans to further challenge and grow their dance path and career.
There are requirements for this program and we want the students and parents to understand this is a more focused program for budding artists that comes with a level of commitment and responsibility that should be taken seriously by the student (and parents). Within this program, we will provide these students with opportunities and curate the training and curriculum to fit the needs of not only the group but the individual, in order to get them on a path working towards their own individual desires and goals.
We only have a certain amount of slots open at this time, until we are able to accommodate more students and move past safely with this current health crisis. The good part about this program is that they will be challenged in specific Company Classes, but will also have some classes with friends they’ve had in their level in the past who may not be doing the program. Our goal isn’t to isolate these students any more than what they’ve done in the past few months, but to enhance the journey for those who want to dedicate more to their craft in the arts.
Please see the requirements and pricing below for this program. If you’d like to be considered, please submit the form at the link below. The student must be the one answering and submitting the application. If parents have questions, please reach out to Jen directly at email@example.com.
Once we have the selected students in place, Jen will have a parent q&a via Zoom. We know this is a quick turnaround, but all applications need to be submitted no later than August 13th.
PLEASE NOTE: We would prefer to have all of these students in the studio for their required classes, but are aware that certain families may not be comfortable with this yet. If you want to be in this program, we still encourage you to submit an application. We will take these on a case by case basis, ultimately configuring a plan that can work for all of us.
