At the discretion of each instructor, warm-ups (sweatpants, sweatshirts, etc.) must be removed when asked

For 13+ year old classes, an alternative dress code is available and will be discussed in class at the start of the season
JAZZ:

Form fitting clothing (i.e. leggings, jazz pants, fitted shorts, leotards, tank tops, crop tops)

No baggy clothes

Hair out of their face

Tan jazz shoes or half soles
HIP HOP:
-
Baggy clothing such as t-shirts, sweatshirts/hoodies, sweatpants, etc. are OK
-
No jeans or booty shorts

Minimum of 3 years previous dance experience

Class enrollment is by age as well as level

Must receive studio approval to enroll in Level 4 classes

There are ballet class prerequisites to enroll in some Level 4 classes, prerequisites are noted under each class description

Dancers usually stay in each level for 2-3 years/seasons before advancing into the next level

Level placement will be at the sole discretion of the Studio Director and Instructors

Dancers at this level typically enroll in a minimum of 3 classes per week and upwards of 7 classes per week

Level 4 dancers are eligible to apply for the Pre-Professional Program

Dancers will build on the foundations of dance and focus on the technical and stylistic aspects of dance
-
Dancers will become familiar with learning choreography at a fast pace
-
Some level 4 dancers will start transitioning into higher level classes with a hybrid schedule spanning more than one level
