Mikaela Jagim
Mikaela began dancing at age 3, teaching at 13 and choreographing at 14. Born and raised in Iowa, Mikaela grew up training extensively in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. She also traveled the country attending and assisting for various dance conventions in order to expand her training and diversity. Mikaela now lives in Los Angeles, CA and is signed with Bloc Talent Agency. As a professional dancer, she has performed for awards shows, music videos, commercials, and more. Some of her favorite credits include filming an episode for the upcoming TV show “Them: Covenant”, dancing for Little Big Town on the Academy of Country Music Awards, and dancing for Maluma on the Latin American Music Awards.
She has performed in a live commercial for “The Greatest Showman”, danced in and choreographed Tim Atlas’ music video for “Tangerine”, and done many more commercials, music videos, and stage performances. She is also a part of Marinda Davis' contemporary company "MarInspired; the storytellers”. Mikaela is fortunate to have learned from and worked with some of the best in the biz including Marguerite Derricks, Liz Imperio, Andrew Winghart, and more. She is so grateful to get to share all that she has learned with the next generation of dancers.
